Already one year passed since I’ve won the contest and I still look back and feel the same enthusiasm. The contest helped me become bolder and made me eager to travel as much as possible. I discovered that everywhere in the world there are people just like me and that willingness to share moments, love, laughter and joy is not something related to one place, is universal. I felt very welcome in all the countries I visited, almost like I was part of the Erasmus Student Network family there and that helped me overcome all of my fears. They made me feel, from the very beginning, that I am in good hands. It’s an unforgettable feeling to go out and meet other people and see other countries and it reminds you how amazing this world is and how lucky we are to be so unique. Now traveling, mobility is like an addiction to me and I want to experience more of that true feeling of intercultural understanding and happiness.
Winning #MobilityIsMyLifestyle contest was a great opportunity to discover european cultures, landscapes, architectures and most importantly amazing people. It was a great pleasure to experience it alongside Gabriella. Our trip was filled with laughter, mind blowing moments and unforgettable memories. I am very thankful to have been a part of it and highly recommend it to anyone who would truly enjoy discovering Europe.See her winning video
It’s been exactly 2 years since my winner’s trip, and I still freshly remember the first feeling of having to ‘pinch myself to make sure it’s not a dream, but reality’. Those were an incredible two weeks which I dearly look back to. Days filled with excitement, joy and sheer curiosity, made even more special by all the ESN members which soon turned from strangers to friends. I got to cross paths with many people who shared the same wanderlust, and the sense of belonging was astonishing. That journey was not only the discovery of Europe but as well as the discovery of myself, my dreams and the courage that I wasn’t even aware I carried. Later that year I got an offer to be a full-time international student, which I accepted without hesitation, eager to explore more of the world. Now, I am proud to say that Mobility Is My Lifestyle, and that this journey which started 2 years ago won’t be coming to an end anytime soon.
